3/5/2020 Dear Parents and Guardians, We are making the decision to postpone events tonight at Sultan Elementary School and Gold Bar Elementary School to limit potential coronavirus/COVID-19 exposure to more susceptible populations.

I would like to provide an update regarding the growing concern about the novel coronavirus, COVID-19, and how we are preparing. Although the current risk to people in Snohomish County from COVID-19 remains low, it is increasingly likely that it will spread to the U.S. at some point...

The purpose of the special meeting is allow the Board of Directors and Superintendent Dan Chaplik to participate in a Board Retreat including topics such as communication, board roles and standards, goals, and mid-year review of goals.

The Community Facility Advisory Committee tours Sultan Middle School.

Starting January 9th, we will be offering the Strengthening Families Program from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm on Thursday nights. It is an eight week class that helps students and parents/guardians work together on things like: peer pressure, family values, appreciating one another, and family communication....

The window for referring students for the Sultan School District Highly Capable program is open. English and Spanish language referral forms are available that can be completed by community or family members to refer a student for testing. The deadline for these is December 6. All referral forms should be returned to building counselors.

A team is working to identify the needs in Darrington and the Sky Valley when it comes to preventing, treating and supporting long-term recovery from opioid use disorder.
