Sultan Virtual Academy (K-12)

2025-2026 Interest Form now open!

 Sultan Virtual Academy (K-12)

Sultan Virtual Academy (SVA) is a district Alternative Learning Experience (ALE) Program of Sultan School District that serves students in grades K-12. Students work in partnership with teachers to successfully accomplish their learning goals.  SVA partners with Spokane Virtual Learning from the Spokane School District for our curriculum and some instructors.

Even though they are not in a "traditional" classroom, your children will spend time each day doing schoolwork to meet the same expectations required of all Washington public school students. Students are expected to spend approximately five (5) to seven (7) hours on schoolwork each day, five (5) days per week. Furthermore, SVA students are required to take the same grade-appropriate state assessments as traditional public-school students.

Upon acceptance into SVA, families and their students will work with Sultan School District Staff to create a Written Student Learning Plan (WSLP) which outlines goals and the overall course program for students.
