Elementary buses will be delayed due to the police incident on Hwy 2. Extra staff are on site to assist with transportation.

Please remind your students to check the lost and found daily. All items are donated on the last Friday of every month.

District mailed calendar update: For the 25-26 September layout in the top right of the picture collage, there is a picture of Gold Bar Elementary with the big gold rock and it says Sultan Elementary, also, there have been reports that the Return of the Salmon, happening on the 27th (not the 25th), QR code goes to your own Facebook feed, while it directs some phones to the Return of the Salmon Celebration official Facebook page. The first board meeting of the 25-26 school year will be a study session held in the Gold Bar Elementary (GBE) Library at 6 pm. The meetings for the rest of the year will be in the Sky Valley Transportation Cooperative facility, located at 32900 Cascade View Drive in Sultan, unless otherwise posted. We hope to see our GBE families and the surrounding neighborhoods to learn about school finance: bond and levy basics.

The District and Board of Directors will be having an open-house-style retirement party for Superintendent Dan Chaplik at the Startup Events Center on June 12th, 2025, from 4:30-6:30 pm. Light refreshments will be available along with cake and ice cream! You are welcome to drop by and say hi as we wish him well after 18 years with the Sultan School District and a total of 32 years in public education.
