The first board meeting of the 25-26 school year will be a study session held in the Gold Bar Elementary (GBE) Library at 6 pm. The meetings for the rest of the year will be in the Sky Valley Transportation Cooperative facility, located at 32900 Cascade View Drive in Sultan, unless otherwise posted. We hope to see our GBE families and the surrounding neighborhoods to learn about school finance: bond and levy basics.

The District and Board of Directors will be having an open-house-style retirement party for Superintendent Dan Chaplik at the Startup Events Center on June 12th, 2025, from 4:30-6:30 pm. Superintendent Dan Chaplik is a board member for the Snohomish County Early Learning Coalition. Work is being done to improve what is otherwise a daycare/early learning desert in our area. These small group conversations are part of a community effort led by the Early Learning Leadership Council of Snohomish County. We want to hear directly from families and guardians about their challenges and experiences so that future funding and policy solutions reflect what our community truly needs.
Details
- You will join a 60-minute conversation with a small group of 3-4 participants.
- Focus groups will be held both in person and online.
- A translator will be available in your preferred language, if needed.
- Participants will receive a thank-you $50 gift card for their time.
