This is public notice that there will be a special meeting held on 2.12.24 at 6 pm in the Sultan Elementary Library for Board District Director position #1 candidate interviews. The normally scheduled study session board meeting will be held at 7 pm in the same location.
Yesterday, the District executed the "Sultan Direct Transfer" with the Department of Natural Resources (DNR). Approved unanimously by the Board of Natural Resources, the District acquired the piece of DNR land that has been on the Board meeting agenda over the past several months. The land is 49.46 acres, abuts a City of Sultan Urban Growth Area, and was paid for by impact fees at $455,000. This will be an asset for years to come! Questions? Call 360-793-9800.
The Advanced Ag Technology and Welding classes at Sultan High are learning to design and create projects by using the industry-based software, Autocad. Student designs are then cut out of steel or aluminum with a Computer Numerical Controlled (CNC) plasma cutter. The United States flags are $150 per flag. The proceeds will go back into the program to support the students!

Sultan Middle School is hosting Cupid's Misfire Mixer on February 16th from 3:00-5:00pm! A dance for all Sultan Middle School students to come and shake their tail feathers, socialize, and have a good time! Wear your most formal or tackiest red, pink and white for this exciting event! Tickets are $5 with ASB and $7 without ASB and will be sold at lunches starting soon.

A letter will be going out to families today outlining our attendance policy.
Attending school regularly helps children feel better about school and themselves. Start building this habit so they learn right away that going to school on time, every day is important. Good attendance will help children do well in high school, college and in their careers.

January 24th is Pizza Night! This is a fundraiser for Sultan Middle School ASB. For every order submitted on that day with a flyer (sent home with student) Sahara Pizza will donate $4 to SMS ASB. Students include your name and 4th period teacher- class with the most participation wins a PIZZA PARTY! Forgot your flier? That's okay just ask your server!
No School on January 29th. It will be a staff in-service day. Enjoy and we will see you back on Tuesday the 30th.
