Tomorrow, Thursday, June 27th, 2024, will be the start of a new Citizen Facility Advisory Committee! Everyone is welcome to join the conversation. There may be 3 or more members of the SSD Board of Directors, which makes for a quorum, but no official business will be discussed. The group will go over the post-2024 Bond Community Survey results and discuss future possibilities. Yesterday, at 5 pm, the board of directors held a candidate interview for the one applicant for director district #3. The board deliberated afterward and then voted during the regular meeting at 6 pm for Michael Butler to be the new board director. He was sworn in and began his duties last night. On Thursday, June 20th, 2024 at 6 pm the Sultan School District Board of Directors will meet for an executive session, closed to the public, at the District Office located at 514 4th Street, Sultan, WA 98294, for the Superintendent's evaluation. Additionally, on Monday, June 24th, 2024, at 5 pm, the Sultan School District Board of Directors will hold Board Candidate Interviews which will be open to the public in the Sultan Elementary School Library at 501 Date Street, Sultan, WA 98294.

Thank you to the community members and staff who participated in the interview process for the new Athletic and Youth Programs Director. After considering many great candidates, we are excited to share that at 10 am this morning, an offer was extended to Chris Hill and he was thrilled to accept. Mr. Hill is coming to us from Mt.
