Sultan School District is working with City and County leadership regarding our current flooding and the impacts of our community. We will be making notifications to families by 12:30 pm today if there are any impacts to the normal school day or students. We will be communicating via our Parent Square, website, Facebook and Instagram pages.
Both AM and PM Special Education Preschool has been cancelled.
If there is a need to make any changes today, we will communicate by 12:30 pm.
We will be posting an update at 10:30am, 11:30am, final decision by 12:30pm.

We have spent the evening and early morning monitoring the weather and road conditions. At this time the only bus route affected with be the COW route which will not be running today. We will continue to monitor conditions throughout the week and provide updates of any impacts to school operations as needed.

Some of our secondary buses are delayed due to a police incident on Highway 2. We will update as we know more.

On the afternoon of August 6, 2025 there was a fire at Gold Bar Elementary that impacted Portable 3/4.
We are thankful to report no injuries and are very appreciative of the Fire Department and their response.
We will be going through the process of accessing next steps and wanted you to know at this time the exterior areas of the campus have been secured for safety reasons while we determine next steps and is not open.
We will provide updates as we approach the start of the school year.
